Based from the stories “Uma Consulta” (An Appointment) and “O Oráculo” (The Oracle) by Artur Azevedo (1855-1908), but centered around widows that appear as background characters in the stories, the play proposes to switch the image of the subservient woman and put them as an active agent of the narrative.
